Howie is the latest comedy character from Douglas Howarth. For over 20 years, Doug's popular character "Potty the Pirate" has been creating family fun and laughter in Sussex, the South East, and further afield.

Doug started performing in working men's clubs and similar venues when he was just 10 years old. At the age of 11 he presented a magic show co-hosted by Michael Aspel at the Unicorn Childen's Theatre in London's West End.

Since then, Doug has performed in many plays,  operas, musicals, pantomimes, on cruise ships and at resorts around the World.

Doug is also a professional classical guitarist.
